Choice of Interpreters

I recently was an organizer of one of the larger events that my organization puts on every yearthis particular year, we were aiming to have as inclusive an event as possible. We decided with our remaining funds to dedicate them towards ASL interpretation services. We chose Choice of Interpreters because we are a LGBTQ+ serving organization and we rely on word of mouth often to choose services that won't discriminate against uswe were referred from another LGBTQ+ serving organization to use Choice of Interpreters, due to their positive history. We are thrilled to say that we had an amazing event, with great positive feedback from attendees about how engaging the teams of interpreters were and how thankful folks were to be able to hear from our DeafBlind, ASL speaking panelist. All of the interpreters were so kind and enthusiasticwe didn't have too much to prepare them with in advance but we did share common LGBTQ+ terminology and the panelist questions/panelist bios. We are so grateful that they were all able to come. We will absolutely contact Choice of Interpreters for our next event.
