I have tried several times to resolve an issue with a HELOC loan pertaining to the breakdown of payments made on my , nearly all of what I pay is applied to interest and very little to principal. *** the loan officer will not return my calls to discuss or set up an appointment on this matter.
After reading the details of the complaint, I wanted to provide insight as to what has happened on our end. Mr. had a loan that was up for renewal. This renewal was not completed due to back property taxes being owed on the property secured as collateral for several months. During that interim period, interest continued to accrue. Once the issue was resolved with property taxes and the note was renewed he began to make payments. These payments all went to interest only due to it having the several months of accrued interest to catch up on. As of February 25 (his last payment) the interest was since caught up and the payment was split between principal and interest per contract. We also removed late payments on his credit report due to miscommunication and in a good faith effort to make this right with the customer on 2/21/2020. Please let me know if there is any additional information that can be provided to solve this matter. I appreciate your time and assistance.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There was no interim period when payments were not made. My Superior Choice Credit union sent a payment every month to keep my account current. If the bank did not cash the checks until after a new loan was concluded, I am not sure. But none of the checks were ever returned to my account during the disputed time frame. I have tried several times to contact the bank to resolve this with someone, but no one returns my phone calls. I have been trying to get a breakdown of how the payments were applied. The agreement I had with the loan officer *** said if paayments were made every month on time there would be no late charges. I would like a report from the bank on payments made minus interest equals principal applied. No one will give me one

I am writing in confirmation of the latest correspondence we've received from the Revdex.com. The date on the letter states 3/11 and we have answered his questions and concerns with follow up ending Friday, March 13th. The customer's request to have a report on when payments were applied to his loan was completed and he was provided with that breakdown of that on Friday. I was unaware that bill payments from *** were still being sent. To solve this problem, we back-dated his payments to reflect the correct dates. This did result in some additional principal paid. I asked that Mr. have a follow up conversation with the Loan Officer, ***, and provided him with his direct contact information. Unfortunately, our lobbies are now closed to the public but Mr. is able to visit in-person with an appointment. Please let me know if this brings this complaint to a full resolution.
