While our office will submit a prior authorization for services as a courtesy to our patients, it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to be aware of their insurance coverage. address in our database when a statement that was mailed to her was returned to our office. We did however, contact Ms. [redacted] several times by telephone regarding her account balance. Our collection agency has also attempted to contact Ms. [redacted] with no response as well. We are more than willing to work with our patients when a financial hardship arises, but we can't do that if the patient fails to contact our office.
