Review: On 3/*/15 I purchased a $360 dollar dress for my daughters prom of 6/**/15. Dress took a few weeks to arrive. On 5/*/15 dress had arrived at store and we went in for fitting and alterations. Measurements were taken for dress hem and also for straps to be added...we paid an extra $136.00 for alterations and discussed exactly how alterations were to be done with persom taking measurements. We were told dress would be ready by 5/**/15 and proceeded to go to store on 5/**/15 to finally pick up dress. When we arrived to pick up altered dress, alterations were not done the way they were discussed when measurements were taken. We asked if dress could be fixed we were told yes but not until at least Thursday 6/*/15. I advised [redacted] the gentleman in charge that we needed it before than at least by Tuesday 6/*/15 because my daughter was leaving on 6/*/15 for her week long senior trip and would return a day before her senior prom of 6/**/15 and that it was not our fault alterations were not done the way we had discussed so therefore needed cooperation in it being done sooner. [redacted] did not agree told us that we were not right as customers and we could take dress as is and he would refund $30. I exchanged into a very heated argument with him and again he refused to do anything for us and expected an apology from me for exchanging into an argument with him over something his businees did wrong. We proceeded to take dress AS IS and were given back only $30 dollars because the hem part of alterations was done so he could not return that...I feel I should be refunded the full amount of alterations $136 for our inconvenience....now we have to take dress to be altered once again with only a $30 refund and also to get dressed steamed because they were unable to steam because their steam machine was broken for past few weeks and also pay for that....[redacted] did nothing to accomodate us and had no care for our extra expenses that we will encur or our many trips taken back and forth to boutique.Desired Settlement: Full alteration refund and also payment for our extra fees that we will incur doin alterations on our own and also taking dress to be steamed elsewhere because the boutiques steam machine is broken.
