CHI St. Joseph Health

In December of 2019, I was referred to St Joseph for a scan for a lump. St. Joseph called me and informed me that my out of pocket was over $700. I asked them to cancel the appointment because I am a single mom, raising two kids on one low salary with no child support and four out of pocket medical bills for my kids. I told them that I could not afford the visit. They called me back and said that I was eligible for a grant due to my situation and I just needed to pay $50. I went in for the appointment and we talked about the grant at check in and I paid the $50. A month later, I received a bill for $702. I called every number that I could find and nobody would call me back.I left numerous messages and even filed a complaint on their website. Finally, one woman called me back and told me that her supervisor was looking at my case and would contact me. I have waited for months and called back to check in regularly with the one woman that actually called me. She keeps saying that her supervisor will be contacting me but months are passing by and no contact. In the meantime, I am receiving past due medical bills that I cannot afford. I just want someone to talk to me and help me.
