I contacted her by phone on June 5 to book an appointment for my birthday( July 26), she was nice and friendly. She gave me an appointment for July 20, a week before my birthday. I specifically emphasized that the hair would be for my birthday. She sent me all her details and asked me to pay her a non refundable( refundable only if she is the one that cancels the appointment) deposit of 25$ which would go towards my total cost. I sent the money immediately through zelle. Fast forward to July 19, I washed my hair and was excited to get my hair done, out of courtesy, I sent her a message asking to confirm my hair appointment for the next day. I got a text immediately saying she cannot make the appointment anymore, that she does not feel well and she has been rescheduling people. I was so sad because I was excited to get my hair done. In her reply she said if I want, she will send back my refund or she could reschedule if I wanted. I was bummed. I sent her a texting stating that a heads up would have been appreciated, considering there is probably no one with an open appointment date for me anymore, since my birthday is so close. I was unhappy she did not even reach out to me about any changes in my appointment, until I reached out. After I sent her a message that I would like a refund. She blocked me and now I cannot reach her.
