Review: I am having difficulty paying my mortgage. I go through a grueling process to ask for mortgage assistance through chase. We were assigned a person to help us with the process after the paperwork had been reviewed. Her name is [redacted] Our options for mortgage assistance was to increase our payments for 3 months to over $1,900 up from $1,136 or pay the full past due amount by Nov 1st. How is this assistance?! On top of this, we received a letter explaining to us that we were to call and make a decision by Oct 27. I called the Thursday and Friday prior to this date and left a voice-mail. I had no received a call back so after my work week I called on Thursday Oct 30 and still couldn't get hold of Ziva. I finally got hold of her after her supervisor promised a call back (apparently no one else could help us) and she informed us that a decision was made without our approval and we were to pay 3 monthly payments of $1,907 starting Nov 1. There is no option to pay this amount online and their offices are closed on Saturdays. I am extremely disappointed with this company. We are having a hard enough time paying our mortgage and you expect me to pay an extra $700 a month over Christmas. This is NOT assistance. Especially if your customer service agents are unable to contact me!Desired Settlement: ACTUAL ASSISTANCE!
