Cheated when buy this house by Charleston Homes and [redacted]
I have been in this house 8 years, 1 month, and 18 days. In that time I have had to replace a pvc water pipe leading to the street ($8000), repair the roof for a water leak ($3800), repair water damage in 4th bedroom ($900 (covered by insurance)), fix the master bath shower which leaked into living room ($320), fixed the basement concrete wall of water leaks ($1000) Tried to get concrete wall, roof and water pipe leading to the street paid for by the [redacted] and each time I was flatly denied with NO recourse. My house insurance denied the leakage on the roof but paid for the damage in the house. [redacted] (owner of Charleston Homes, Maryland (at the time)) conveniently disappeared in 2007 and there has been no sight or sound from him since. I have not been able to get any satisfaction on correcting and receiving reimbursement for any of the work indicated.
