Charles T. Landscaping

Review: We contracted for a brick walkway. The pattern and border were completed correctly. Mr. T[redacted] asked my husband if he liked the job. My husband, who cannot see because he has cataracts, approved the work and paid in full plus a generous tip. When I returned home, I saw that mortar was on the brick and not extended to the edge of many of the bricks. There was a white haze over the surface to the brick. I asked Mr. T[redacted] to return to clean the mortar and brick. He did return for 1 day but did not complete the job. He said he would return to finish the job. On the day he was supposed to arrive, he refused to return my phone calls. I had to hire someone else to finish the job. The new contractor put down 2 layers of an acid wash and applied a grinder to remove much excess mortar.This experience has been upsetting because Mr. T[redacted] knows how sick my husband is at this time. He and his crew witnessed my husband having a severe diabetic reaction. No matter what is the physical condition of the client, the contractor should finish the job correctly. We are disappointed in the workmanship of the product because it was not finished and we felt that Charles T. Landscaping took the money and had no plans to finish the job.Desired Settlement: We are requesting a $500.00 settlement .
