Chapters Store #938

I took my son here to buy a book on November 20, 2018. We ordered the book that day and paid for it. The cashier said it would be 7-10 days for delivery. The book was for a gift exchange for December 15, 2018 so we thought we had lots of time to receive the book. The receipt said the book would be in the store by December 07, 2018. When the book wasn't in by December 11, 2018 I went to the store to see what was going on and see if they could track my book. The manager (Cathy) told me at that time my book was on a UPS truck and should be at the store within 2-4 days. The book still wasn't in the day of the gift exchange so I had to print off a picture of the book and an explanation of why my son didn't have a gift and wrapped that for the exchange. My son was very embarrassed. After many phone calls to this Chapters I'm still being told my book is on a UPS truck. It's been a month and I've had no real answers as to where the book actually is. I've had no apologies from this store and I am still waiting for the product we purchased over a month ago!! I did receive an email that they were opening an investigation on December 14, 2018 but haven't heard anything since.
