Chapin Manufacturing

Purchased model 4701 Chapin HydroFeed fertilizer injector to feed trees and fertilize - product worked great for 6 months. Today when I went to use the feeder, I put the product into the tank, hooked up the hose and pressurized the feeder. The tank blew off the mixer and completely separated just below the threads. No cracks were noted, the feeder was was not dropped (in fact it is mounted on a frame) the separation appears to look like fatigue failure - I had to finish the job, so I have tried to super glue the pieces back together to finish the job - don't know if it will hold, but I do not have the time to send for another one. With the thickness of the poly tank, I would not have expected a failure of this type without some indication there was a problem. They do not offer a replacement tank which I would have purchased.

I would like Chapin to send me the part that is missing from the 24 v rechargeable backpack sprayer . I don’t want to send it back as that is inconvenient. I want part # 6-8169 to be sent without charge
