Review: I found an old gift card that I had. I called the number on the card to see if there was money left on it and there was $50.00. I went to the store today and got 3 paintball tanks filled and pokemon cards. At the register when payment was requested I gave the teller the gift card. He then said "oh" and proceeded to call the owner of the store behind the counter and said to him I don't know what to do with this as this is the old style cards. The [redacted] then took the card from the clerk and said to me that they no longer honor those cards as it was am old credit company that handled that and he didn't even know what to do with the card . Since there was no experation date on the card I suggested he deduct my purchase and credit me with their new cards. He told me that he could not do that and he was sorry. He said he sent out emails to his customers stating to use the card a S they wouldn't be good but I told him I'm not a previous customer and it's a gift card. He would not honor the card and he didn't give me the card back. I had to pay cash for my purchase and I informed him I would never go there again as well as I would tell future customers not to use that storeDesired Settlement: I would like the [redacted] to make this right as the gift card had money on the card even though he changed the company he used to do these particular gift cards. He basically kept the 50 dollars that he knew was used to purchase this gift card and didn't mind telling me that I didn't get to use my gift . I would like the money back that was originally used to purchase this gift for me to begin with
