In response to a complaint filed by [redacted] , I am happy to say that this has been resolved completely once I contacted the insurance company directly! Her complaint lies with the insurance company--NOT with CIA, Chagnon Insurance AgencyThe insurance carrier began their renewal processFrom time to time homes are inspected and charged to the client as part of their renewal premium--this is not done yearlyAt the time of the inspection, they & we were NOT informed that the insured was going to change insurance companiesThe company inspected and charged the insured as they had to pay the inspection companyThe insurance company, once informed of the carrier change refunded 100% of the insurance premium, but not their inspection fee.We made an inquiry in an attempt to get the inspection fee resolved and returned to the clientIt was rejected because the inspection was completed & finalizedWe then called them again and challenged their rulingIn the end they agreed to refund 100% of the inspection fee and are crediting the account in full as an accommodation to me, my insurance agency and to the clientSincerely, [redacted] President
