This complaint is unfounded and has no merit. Certified Management is a Community Management firm and has NEVER required any client (the HOA) to have their owners provide SS#. Under no circumstances would this company work for a client that wanted us to do so. There is no need for us to need or want this information as our client is the HOA entity and all work done is on their behalf. CMA follows collection processes as indicated by the client and at NO time has this office opened accounts with any collection or credit agencies to report or seek personal information on delinquent accounts. We have no authority to obtain personal information such as SS#, credit history or personal banking information to report delinquent accounts. The only banking information this firm uses is ACH as requested by the individual owners. At the direction of the client (HOA) delinquent accounts are forwarded to the Association's attorney for further collection efforts and at that time CMA has no further communication with the delinquent owner.
