I have reviewed the Revdex.com complaints from [redacted] regarding incorrect billing over several monthsI reviewed the account notes and show we did have some issues with the customers monthly rate being billed correctlyMost of the overcharge credits were issued on 11/18/ $which posted on the December billI show the problem continued which has also been adjusted the Febbill is correct and the customer is on the lowest save offer promotional rate possibleWe do apologize for this frustrating billing situation and time spent trying to get it resolved the account looks good going forward I don's see any further credits due to this customer.Sincerely,Mr[redacted]
To whom it may concern: Please be advised that CenturyLink has completed a review of this complainant’s rebuttal and found the following: The comments on the account are not the only factor in the reply sustaining the early termination fee The arrangement and terms are similar to the previous agreement entered into on the prior promotional rate given and are stated on the bill as part of the description of why the discount is applied and the terms that provide for such discounts The customer received a total of $off of the regular pricing for the service when the new promotional plan was implemented As a compromise to this situation CenturyLink is willing to meet the customer half way on the early termination fee and has adjusted the $of this fee Had the customer contacted Centurylink to dispute this when reviewing the information on the first billing with the promotion clearly outlined, at CenturyLink discretion, this might have been avoided altogether CenturyLink acknowledges the customers concerns and apologizes for any issues or inconvenience that may have been experienced Sincerely, [redacted] Executive Office Regulatory Escalations Analyst CenturyLink Customer Advocacy Consumer/Small Business Sales and Care

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have attached a copy of the order confirmation that I received I was told that my monthly charge would be The sales person did not discuss automatic ebill or autopay being required to have this rate I know that you record phone conversations so you should pull the recording and it will prove that I was not told I needed to do that The rate I was quoted was $for months and that should be what I am billed forIt is not acceptable to be told I can have your service for a price and then once I commit you raise the price That is unethical Sincerely, [redacted]
CenturyLink appreciates [redacted] giving us the opportunity to review the handling of his accountAt CenturyLink we strive to provide outstanding customer service and his comments are appreciated plus utilized to enhance our trainingUpon review, This issue has already been escalated to the Department of Justice [redacted] has already received a response for all concerns through the DOJ processDOJ Response, In review of the customer’s account and billing, I do see that we offered the customer a new internet promotion However, notations do not indicate what pricing was offered, nor do notations mention that CenturyLink’s @Ease service was discussed In review of the customer’s April 8th, statement, I do see that the customer received the price for internet that he feels he was quoted, $plus fees and surcharges As additional details to this scenario, the customer was required to enroll in both paperless billing and automatic payments to retain this promotional price Without both of these requirements being met, the customer’s discounts would be reduced by $per month What I find is that the customer was enrolled in paperless billing, and was enrolled in automatic payments prior to the new promotional rate being added The customer’s automatic payment for his March 8th, statement was declined, and automatic payments were subsequently removed from the customer’s account This caused the customer’s March balance ($55.99) to forward to his April statement ($new charges, total amount due of $83.56) This also caused an internet late payment charge of $ Because the customer was not on automatic payments, the customer’s promotional rate was reduced by $per month, and his monthly charges were $($for internet charges, $CenturyLink @Ease and $internet cost recovery fee) All charges were billed correctly With this information being said, the early termination fee was also assessed correctly as well Credits are not due at this time Thanks Ms [redacted] , [redacted] CenturyLink Customer Advocacy Group
