Mr [redacted] refused to pay the taxes owed that is why it was sent to collections. He did not try to pay at any time much less ten times. Taxes do change depending on address we are notified by the county of differences and we notify the customer.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:To be clear, at the time of negotiation and signed buyers order, by me, clearly shows $1,000 down on credit card, $9,000 in check.  After the sale of negotiated price and commitment to purchase, I met with the finance manager who revised a new buyers order.  The copy I have is not signed by me and only by the finance manager. (See attachments)  This revised buyers order has different sales person information and it has included the 5yr warranty additional that I agreed to add for $2,985.  In addition, the column deposit with order was now $2,000.  Again, at the time of negation to purchase, I agreed to pay no more than $10,000 down with the remaining to be financed.  And you are correct as I look at my loan paperwork as suggested by your response, yes I singed agreeing to the terms of the loan which does specify $11,000 down.  To my point, 34 days have now elapsed.  By state of Wyoming law, I must pay taxes and register the purchased product within 45 days of purchase.  On day 32 I called Century RV seeking status.  It was only at this point that it was brought to my attention that I owed an additional $1,000 in order for you to release the title paperwork to the state of Wyoming.   I was then told that you would not send the paperwork until you have received additional payment or I would be sent to collections.  Your business prepped the camper, mounted it to my truck and I drove away happy with my purchase and Century RV. Clearly, at that time, Century RV finance manager felt that we were paid in whole or I should not have been permitted to leave. The foundation of my complaint is that it took my followup seeking status of my title only to learn that Century RV was holding my title until the questionable $1,000 were paid.  Personally, this is poor business practice and an oversight by both parties.  While I fully support small business and know $1,000 may be meaningful to Century RV, however the mistake is shared and that we both are liable for the oversight.  At the time of sale, I would have gladly paid the extra amount due if it were known or made aware as I gladly added $2,985 in warranty without question.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

The warranty is from the manufacturer not Century RV we schedule work as our calendar permits if this time frame doesn't work your warranty is good at most RV repair facilities across america but Century RV can't extend manufactures warranties.

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2015/07/17) */

I am rejecting this response because:  As you can see in the response Century RV takes no responsibility for their negligent attitude and their crap customer service.  They provide no help what so ever in their response.   I want everyone to know that is reading this complaint.... NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.   STAY AWAY FROM CENTURY RV.  THEY WILL [redacted] YOU OVER AND DISMISS YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE UNIMPORTANT TO THEM.   I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this worthless company.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Sorry to here you are not happy with your purchase, as you stated we did fill your propane tanks and give you a new battery that doe not come with a used unit. As for the battery cables touching the only damage that would occur  would be a blown fuse that our tech helped you with on the phone...

and you said fixed the problem. [redacted] your sales person told you that you may be able to find electric diagrams online but we do not have anything to give you.As for the charging of the battery your unit is not equipped with a generator. The service warranty you purchased can be cancelled and the prorated amount refunded but you will need to sign a cancellation form. If you read your warranty contract it is your responsibility to  bring your trailer into the nearest authorized dealer for service and there is no compensation for time or loss of use.
