Then they said no one else had ever complainedSo what? Hi, In response to the complaint made by ***, I have never had a contract with him regarding the above mentioned propertyI have a contract with the homeowner *** ***, and on the second page of our contract that is signed by her it clearly states that warped or cupped wood is not
covered under warrantyWe always give pros and cons of different types of wood we use and always recommend staining/sealing, especially to pine posts. *** was not included in these discussions since he is not the homeowner/decision maker on the property. I did have communications with *** recently about the warped post, he wanted to know if it is still structurally sound, which it isHe never asked us to remove or replace anythingIf he would have I would have been happy to quote that out for *** (the homeowner). Per my discussions with *** today, he just wants us to replace the post for free even though Century Fence does not warrant that and the homeowner signed a contract agreeing to itSince this is a strongarm technique from someone we have never had a contract with and the signed contract (attached) we do have clearly states we will not warrant the above mentioned items, I would please ask for this complaint to be removed.
