I listed my home with Centruy 21 Canon Land, Canon City, CO in March 2012 with [redacted]. From the date I listed it until it went to auction, Mr. [redacted] never called me once, except he contacted me by mail to renew my contract with him after 6 months. He did NOTHING to make an effort to sell my house. He also told me that lenders rarely, if ever, come back on an owner via a 1099 due to a loss in equity. He's a liar!!!!! My house ended up going to auction a week after receiving a short sale offer which Wells Fargo denied. ReMax bought it at auction and then sold it. Today, I received a 1099 in the mail and I'm likely going to have to pay the difference in what I owed and the "fair market value" which comes out to be about $24,000. If you have a choice, DON'T list your home with Century 21 Canon Land or specifically with [redacted]!!!!!
