Regarding MrsJ*** ***'s second statement, the Sandyland Reef Inn's decision is as follow: - Even though our housekeeper found the room neat, but with a broken remote control in there (as pictured and reported on the previous statement); the guest has enjoyed the hotel the entire stay, not mentioning any concern with prices or room conditions until has been cited over the damage in the room; have talked nicely with the manager, and have had the situation clearly explained without any creepier tone from both sides; it is the Sandyland Reef Inn decision to refund the guestIt is not our intention to have a previous guest suffering any longer due to "be nickeled and dimed to death" as on her own words;- Regarding the guest's request for deleting her information from our computer, it cannot be doneWe digitalize our guest's information on our system to keep them properly protected, but accessible for future purposesIt is our policy to prevent upcoming unexpected relapses.A $is to be refunded to the guest by the current date.Sandyland Reef Inn wishes the best tor MrsK***.Sincerely, General Manager
The medical office billed Medicare for tests that were not done on me on July 31,
Regarding Mrs. J[redacted]'s statement, I must accurate better the facts. After the hotel's regular check out time, her room was found vacant, and it was investigated as it is routinely done by our maids. Out of the room has been found on a neat condition, the remote control was found damaged....

I am rejecting this response because: I simply did not break the remote. The owner notes that the room was left clean and neat...why on earth would I break a remote and leave it like that? It's ridiculous. The owner should listen to his customers, and not nickle and dime them to death. Did it occur to him one of his employees may have accidentally broken it?It just doesn't matter anymore, as I will certainly never stay at this property again, and I will certainly make certain that my acquaintances know of this silly charge. This is petty.I notice this property has similar complaints on Yelp....the owner needs to change his managing style if he expects to stay in business.I request that the owner delete my credit card information from his computer, as soon as possible please.

Review: Central Valley Towing, towed my car and charged me $345 while I was parked at what I thought was event parking. I believe the towing was illegal.
I am a citizen of Gold River in Sacramento County. This weekend, on 12/14 I was attending a soccer tournament for my 10 year old child at Mather Soccer Complex. This special event involved many hundreds of parents and players and as a result the parking in the vicinity of this sports venue was inadequate to safely park in the designated parking lots. I parked my car in an office parking lot with about 20 other vehicles immediately adjacent to the sports complex at the intersection of Peter A. McCuen and Schreider Roads. When I returned I learned that a security guard had called Central Valley Towing to tow my and other vehicles to offsite locations. I am writing to you to inform you of what appears to be an immoral (if not illegal) revenue generating practice that is being allowed by the City with the help of Central Valley Towing. Once I reclaimed my vehicle for an absurd $345, I was told I needed to contact the City Police Department about any complaint. I attempted to contact the City Police Dept, but on a weekend it is impossible to actually talk to a person to inquire about my rights as a citizen of this County for such matters. Also, it appears that the Police Dept conducts towing hearings for citizens to lodge their complaints but they also threaten that if the towing is ruled valid the citizen will incur an additional $152 admin charge. This threat tactic I'm sure is meant to dissuade citizens from lodging legitimate complaints. I have asked City leaders whether they sanction stealing my vehicle, holding it ransom and then charging me an absurd amount to reclaim it just because I wanted to attend a tournament that benefits the City? Does the City benefit from towing revenue? I consider myself a very reasonable person. If I make a mistake, I can admit it and move on. For this situation, I believe I was scammed out of $345 dollars while attending a special soccer tournament event on a weekend (when businesses are not working). Had I had another choice for parking at this event I would not be writing you. Apparently the businesses adjacent to the sports complex are allowed to create hazardous, money making situations for residents trying to attend an event. I am appealling to you to help me and other citizens who are being victimized by this unscrupulous practice. It should be illegal. Thank you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like $345 refunded and apology from Central Valley Towing, the security company and the City of Rancho Cordova.

Response:
We would like to start off by thanking you for voicing your complaint. Most people are unaware of the risks in parking in Private Parking lots. While some may be able to do so without being towed, there are others who have On-Site Security who patrol their Private lots at all times. When you pulled into this lot you would have noticed the signs warning you that ALL unauthorized vehicles are subject to be towed at owners expense.
Central Valley only has a towing contract with the Business. The On-Site Security called us to authorize the removal of ALL unauthorized vehicles that were parked in their lot.
In your complaint you stated you, "Parked at what you thought was event parking." Then you continue to say, "This special event involved many hundreds of parents and players and as a result the parking in the vicinity of this sports venue was inadequate to safely park in the designated parking lots. I parked my car in an office parking lot" With that being said you knew that the area you parked in was not designated for this event. As far as the complaint regarding the Rancho Cordova Police Dept. or the City Of Rancho Cordova, they have nothing to do with the towing of the vehicle from a private property.Unfortunately the phone number you called was a tow hearing hotline for vehicles that have been impounded by the Police Department, this vehicle was towed from Private property having nothing to do with the Police Department. We simply notify them when a vehicle is towed from a private property as required by law, so you can locate your vehicle.
Central Valley Towing followed all laws regarding removal of unauthorized vehicles and declines the desired resolution.
