Review: I signed up for termite control from Central Termite Control for $75 a quarter. Later, I asked about spraying for ants. They said they did that. I thought it was covered under the contract I signed. I'm not sure exactly what was said, it was many years ago now, but I signed up for the ant control. Again, I was under the impression that my charge was $75 a quarter. About the time I signed up for spraying for ants, my credit card was stolen so I got a new card. I had the payment automatically charged to my credit card so they were not getting paid. However, Central Termite Control did not contact me about lack of payment. They didn't contact me for over 4-5 years. Then, they said they wanted to double up the payments so to catch up. I thought that meant $150 a quarter. They started charging me $150 a month however. I didn't notice this for quite a while. I called to ask about it and they said just trying to collect their charges. I don't know how any company can go for 4-5 years without realizing they were not getting paid so I believe part of the problem is their fault. I asked how much I owed and I did not get an answer. I honestly don't think they knew. It seems like the just plan on charging me forever. It has been almost 2 years of $150 a month charges. I have never received a statement from them saying what they were doing, how much I owe or how long they plan on charging me. I heard that they changed their billing people but that is no excuse for this kind of business practice. After not charging me years, they probably should have had to forfeit at least some those payments. I may ask a lawyer about that to see if I can get the money they took back. Letting them take payments directly from a credit card makes it very easy for them to abuse customers without the customer realizing it. I will never do that again.Desired Settlement: My first desire is for them to stop charging my credit card. I think they may have over charged me and if that is true I would like a refund. I may need a lawyer for that because I have called them and left messages and never heard back.
