Central Connecticut State University

Obviously I cannot speak for everyone, but here is my personal experience. They definitely do not seem to understand that a University is a business. I enrolled in one class as a non-matriculated student to further my education (I already have a Bachelor's of Science.) The whole experience was extremely unprofessional and definitely not designed to make a student happy with the service they are paying for. From the second I signed up to the second I dropped the course the only contact I had was the billing department emailing me and mailing me that my bill was ready. Not one person reached out to welcome me to the University and ask if I needed assistance, or let me know who I could contact for educational guidance. Then I go to the class and spend one hour and fifteen minutes listening to an elderly talk about absolutely nothing related to the course. Not sure what other courses and professors at the school are like, but during my four years of undergrad at a different University I never experienced something which was such a huge waste of time. I decided to drop the course. Only then did I find that their "100% Refund" meant 100% other than a bunch of "non-refundable fees" that were not listed on my original bill, only listed on the universities return policy page. So I paid almost $100 and lost one hour and fifteen minutes of my life. Maybe as a full time student they care about you more, but I would not recommend this University to anyone looking to be part time.
