Brought my poodle in for grooming. She had gotten much more fluffy over the holidays and she got some mats. I tried my best to remove them but needed to just go to the groomers. She has had mats before; she's a poodle. No other groomer has had such an issue. She came to me as a puppy with very long, unkempt hair. No issue with a professional grooming. This grooming trip: I was told over and over again about the mats (I got it) and told how bad it is to let this happen, bunch of other things to make me feel bad like the dog had been left outside her whole life; she lives a very great life. The grooming was not at all what I asked for. I said just cut her real short on her body, no issue there. I knew there were mats, just a fresh start for her cut. Face not cut as asked, messed up cuts all over (except the body). The reason I am writing this, beyond all these issues, is she has multiple scab. She was cut multiple times. There are cuts on her neck and her back legs, probably more. That's unacceptable. I've been to bad groomer who want you to keep your dog in a glass case and never let them play so they stay clean and shiny (like this place) but at least they never cut my dog. Cut my dogs skin, shame me, and charge me twice what other places charge. A dematting fee is fine. This is not fine at all. I understand the cut took awhile and it is a lot of work to groom a poodle, but they should never be in harm. If you can't get the mat fully, tell the owner it wasn't possible. I am so upset with all of this.
Refund A refund is desired because my dog is cut.
I feel the same, but I'm too upset to continue through the process without getting too emotional. Keep the money, I just don't want my pup to get hurt. I understand the issues that can arise with grooming. I won't be back, but I'm glad to have the issue brought to attention and I hope it's noted. I'm very sad, but I'd like to think it was a genuine mistake.
