Dear Dispute Department, On April 9th, we received an Imac from [redacted] The main issue we were told was that the safari browser was not working most likely from a virus We charge $standard for virus removal After spending several hours on the computer, we found that the entire operating system needed to be updated or replaced as it appeared corrupted We spent several days and all the options we know to accomplish this for the customer but found that the computer's RAM is insufficient for upgrading to a newer OS and the current OS refused to install We contacted Ms [redacted] to inform her that we can add additional RAM to the computer and then attempt to install a newer operating system At this point, Ms [redacted] told us she wanted her own IT coworkers to take a look at the computer We understood that and graciously returned her computer without charging ANYTHING especially for the days of time we wasted on trying to get it to work Sometimes older devices cannot be repaired or require parts, this is a part of business and that we did not charge her at all shows how we treat our customers and disagree with this complaint in its entirety
Thanks to let us know everything solved and she got full refund
