Cedars West End

Review: As we were invited to cedars last night my boyfriend and I went to cedars to enjoy swing dancing on Thursday night. We spoke to the proprietor of the establishment who happened to take our drink order. We ordered a virgin Shirley temple which cost $2.50. We paid for the drink with a ten dollar bill. As we waited to for our change we walked over to the other side of the bar to speak with other friends and came back to order another and to get our change. We searched all over to find our change so not to accuse the makeshift bartender. When we approached the man about our measly seven dollars and fifty cents. The man told us he left the change of $2.50 and waited for us to retrieve the money. He stated that when he didn't see us take it he assumed it was a tip. I explained to the man that we gave him a ten dollar bill and not a five. He refused to believe this and told us we weren't correct and he didn't owe us any money back after our interaction. We then left the bar and didn't get any of our change backDesired Settlement: Clearly $7.50 isn't any reason to raise concern. If the man needed the money we would have just given it to him. The reason I raise concern is that if this man did this to us who's to say he hasn't done it before and taken money from paying customers who didn't come back for their change or gave out incorrect change to collect a couple extra dollars. A couple dollars here and there will add up. My point is that we were cheated out of a little money by well known proprietor and that isn't right.
