Cedars of Monroeville

Review: My mother was sent to Cedars of Monroeville for rehab after she fractured her pelvis. She received good care while there. Before she was released they took her to UPMC hospital to verify that she was capable to go home. This was in October of 2012. We received a bill from UPMC for that trip. I contacted Cedars since they were listed as the insurer. Tina in the billing department told me that they were responsible for the bill and for me to ignore it. We received several more bills. Each time, Cedars told me that they were taking care of it. Since then, UPMC turned it into a credit agency. I paid the bill, but people should be warned about such practices at Cedars of Monroeville.Desired Settlement: If they could reimburse me for the bill, that would be nice.
