Review: I had a guest over who was standing on the wooden slats of my balcony when it broke and her foot fell through. I have a two year old boy who I cannot let go outside onto the balcony untill this issue is resolved. I contacted them the night it happened. Now, it has been over seven days. After contacting management again they told me it was on 'the list' and they were backed up. They are also missing multiple railing slats, leaving gaps of over 16 inches in the walkway railing. I am on disability and could have a leg spasm, fall over and through those openings, and so could my two year old.Desired Settlement: This issues is a safty issue and should be fixed immediately. I need a new 2x4 nailed into the floor of my balcony, and Manamgement needs to fix the slats along the second story railings.

To whom this may concern: Last Friday—8/16/13 Cedar Village replaced the broken board on [redacted]’s balcony (that is my fault, 1 almost forgot to do it). We also replaced (1) railing slat that had been kicked out by another of our tenants. Also my fault! Please note, that was the only railing slat missing and it was not near Apt.# [redacted] When we are out painting this fall, we will add some paint to these items. All in all, I take full responsibility for these items NOT being addressed in a timely manner—that is my job. I will be sure to address this type of repair ASAP in the future.
