Cedar Street Hospitality

I was a paying guest of the Cedar Hotel between 9/12/14 and 9/14/14. First of all the hotel did not look like what was presented in the various internet websites (http://www.[redacted].com/[redacted]-hotels/[redacted]/the-cedar-hotel/)I visited before booking the hotel. The hotel room was absolutely disqusting (bathroom not clean, no toilet paper, etc.). The service at the hotel was even worse. They did not clean the room and when I asked about it, I was told we signed some release for the room not to be cleaned - which is a false statement. We had to ask on numerouse occasions for clean towels. The carpet in the room looked like it had not been cleaned or changed in years. I would definitely say this was false advertisement in every since of the word. Which is the reason for this formal complaint.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of all monies paid due to the false advertisement and poor customer service from this hotel establishment. My out of pocket expense was initially $175 but I did receive a partial refund of $40. I would like all of my monies refunded.Business Response I do apologize, I am mistaken on this guest complaint. There was another guest under the same name in our system in September as well. This guest did indeed stay Sept 12 and 13. Her rate was reduced from $75 to $55 on each night, and our front office supervisor apologized profusely to her, because the guest was upset that her room wasn't cleaned on one of the days of her stay. She received compensation of $46.38 for this. I was not informed of any other guest issues from Ms. [redacted]. None of the management staff received any other complaints except for the fact that her room wasn't cleaned on 1 night of her 2 night stay.
