During Covid pandemic, all accounts were suspended. With no notification that they were opening back up, my account is being charged more than the rate I signed on for. In addition to being charged more, members are not allowed to shower, which is the reason I chose this gym to begin with. Lastly, the rules are inconsistent for Black card members. I suffer from a ***, and cannot wear a mask on cardio equipment. The *** location is the only one that refused reasonable accomadation to me. All of this is unacceptable from a customer standpoint. The worker was quite rude.

Me and a friend went in to sign up, we were told by the sales person the membership I selected was noncommital. The contract was in fact for a 12-month commitment. I canceled my membership with a 60 dollar buy out. I have talked to planet fitness management at the gym, the corpret number, along with a conversation with the general manager of the franchise. All of them have been extremely rude and did not seem to care that this is in fact illegal. I have a witness to the salesperson lying to us and then rushing out of the gym before I finished signging the paperwork because their day was over. If they are doing this at all their franchises I believe this opens them up to a review by the state attorneys office and a class action lawsuit to al those they have defrauded.
