I took a $350 wool jacket in 12/4 - when I picked it up it was covered with 100+ small black spots.I told them that the jacket didn't have a single spot on it when I brought it in so something happened in their care.They offered to re-run the jacket.They re-ran it and still had all the spots.They took the jacket and told me the owner would look at a video tracing the jacket thru the cleaning process and call me but never did. I called the next day & spoke to Peter ***.He said that they were working on it.Someone called me an hour later & said that a woman was working on the stains & was getting them out but they would have to clean the coat again. ON 12/13, the stains were all gone but the wool was ruined -- pilling and the wool was stretched in areas to almost form holes. Spoke to Peter *** who gave me excuse after excuse of why they did nothing wrong.He showed me the video of me dropping off the jacket; the video wasn't clear but showed that I didn't point out any stains so if there were these 100+ black marks all over the jacket when I dropped it off, there would have been a discussion with the clerk. It also shows the clerk looking over the garment after I left and is not marking any stains. Mr. said they didn't rub the wool causing the pilling and stretching of the wool because they spot in a machine and don't do any rubbing of the fabric. This totally contradicts what I had been told earlier when they said "she" was working on getting all the stains out. I totally understand that things can go wrong but for Mr. to deny any wrongdoing and send me on my way with a jacket that is now unwearable is reprehensible. The jacket cannot be worn and I should be reimbursed for the cost of the jacket.

We have tried to reach Ms. regarding the red coat matter. The phone number and email she provided is not in service / email is ***@sbcglobal.net which is sending us reject responses. We wanted to reach her, so we can make things right. The owner has agreed to reach an agreement with her on the price of the item. We wanted her to contact us, so we can have a follow-up phone number and email address for her. We apologize that this happened and went this far.

After resolving the issue with the customer we paid the claim of $210 to satisfy the customer. She has already picked-up the check and is satisfied with our pay-out.

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/13) */ Contacted Naomi and discussed her visit to the CD One Price Cleaners on Ashland and WellingtonShe explained what had happened and after listening intently, I apologized and thanked her for bringing the situation up to me and stated I had a conversation with the store manager and the district manager and we all learned from this incident and also explained to her it would help us give better customer serviceI then asked Naomi to please share the information regarding her skirt as I wanted to get her a check for the replacementNaomi stated she did not want a check for the replacement of the skirt, she simply wanted us to listen and address the way in which the incident was handledI asked her if there was anything I could do and she stated there was one thingTell Courtney, the production manager what a great job she did with her customer service and her interaction and to buy her lunchI told Naomi I would absolutely commend Courtney by recognizing her with our STANDING "O" award and be sure to get her a gift card to her favorite restaurant and make sure that she knows that this was as a result of her interaction with Naomi FordAfter the phone conversation with Naomi, I sent a personal apology via mail along with a couple of gift cards for services at CD One Price Cleaners for her and her husband and now consider this complaint to be resolvedSincerely, Steve [redacted] , VP of Operations, CD One Price Cleaners
