I have been implicated in an attempted scamAn associate of mine had her email account hacked, and as a result, I have recently been receiving "cashier's checks" for large sums of money that research indicates are actually fraudulentThe scam as I understand it, is that once the victim deposits the funds into her account, she is requested to wire transfer the amounts not spent back to CBC (some kind of secret shopper deal) only to find that their cashiers check is a fraud, and cannot be honored by the bank I have not requested these funds, and customer service at CBC, Sutherland Global Services, or New Jersey Beer Company NEVER ANSWERS the telephone in order to be taken off of their mailing list I wish no contact by this company, and consider their correspondence and telephone calls to be nothing short of harassment
