Review: On Sunday, June 28th Mr. [redacted] came to my home to give me a quote/estimate to pour a concrete parking slab. Mr. [redacted] came recommended by a cousin of one of our neighbors. Mr. [redacted] recently poured a concrete patio for one of our neighbors. I felt it was a good price and verbally agreed to the work. Mr. [redacted] said he would stop over on Tuesday, June 30th to collect the deposit of $550.00. At that time Mr. [redacted] wrote up and signed a contract stating what was to be done and when. The job was to be started on Wednesday, July 1st, that morning at approximately 6:20am Mr. [redacted] came to my home and stated he was running behind and would come the next day to complete the work. He did not show up or call/contact me the next day to complete the work. Mr. [redacted] notified the cousin of our neighbor that he would complete at another date or refund my deposit. I asked for my deposit to be refunded. I have been in contact by phone calls and leaving messages and Mr. [redacted] has not returned the deposit as stated.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund of my deposit of $550.00 as promised by Mr. [redacted] as no work was completed as per the contract.
