We are a business and had this company mow our lot. Work was sloppy and incomplete. They didn't weed eat all of the places that needed it even after being told what needed it. They finally just quit coming. I would not recommend them at all.
Very satisfied with the service we received from Calvary. Great customer service & competitive pricing! Highly recommend them for your landscaping needs!
I hired this company Summer of 2017 to stain my home and deck. During treatment they over sprayed stain on my ferns. The company agreed to replace the ferns, however the replacement ferns arrived dead, I owed this company a final balance that I did not feel comfortable paying until this issue was resolved and to this date they never resolved that issue, then the Summer of 2018 we noticed the stain was not holding up and starting to peel in area's. I called the company and was told by an employee that he would relay message to the owner to come out and look at this , however he has never returned my call or came out to my home to address these concerns.
To whom it may concern,
Please find our response below for Complaint ID. Please note that our office address is not correct on your website and I would appreciate it if it was changed to the correct location: ***.
*** hired our company to stain his home in April of 2017, not the Summer. There was an issue with his ferns when stain from the home dripped onto the leaves. Although the ferns did not die, the company offered to replace them. The type of fern he wanted, an Ostrich Fern, was not carried by any local nurseries. To accommodate the special type of fern requested, we ordered the fern online and it was shipped to Fairview Heights. The ferns arrived in dry dirt in the box. We took the ferns to the home owner and explained how they arrived. The home owner still accepted the ferns and planted them in hopes to bring them back to life. In the late summer of 2018, the homeowner approached a former employee of our company and said there were issues with stain peeling in areas on his decks. The home owner stated that, “it would only take a couple hours for us to re-stain.” The home owner’s wife mentioned to the employee that she was unsure if the wood in areas of the peeling was cedar or pressure treated pine. If the wood was factory treated, the stain approved by the home owner’s HOA would not have a warranty. The homeowner used my company to do additional work. We did carpentry work, not stain work, in which we replaced bad, decaying boards on his deck and wood stairway. The fee for this project was $350. The homeowner did not pay that fee. After not paying this amount of money, we will continue to refuse to do any additional work on the property. The money that was not paid to us is much more than the cost of any minor staining. This issue is resolved on our books. We did not file a lien on the property, when we could have. I wish the best for the homeowner on any future projects.Hopefully the next company gets their final payment.
