They came to our home and gave us the pitch, it sounded good and having meat in bulk is very handy, it all looked to be good quality meat. The first steaks weren’t horrible but also weren’t good, the more we ate the worse it got, they don’t cook correctly and are horribly chewy, the chicken is also gross, horribly slimy and chewy. I would like to be refunded for about 70% of the meat we have left that we do not want to eat

Review: Cattleman's Pride came to my door, offered me grass fed, hand cut, no hormones, no antibiotics used local steaks, chicken and pork. I agreed to hear their sales pitch, they made me a great deal. When my husband and I sat down to try the steaks they were obviously not grass fed, had a funny taste that was "not right" for steaks. we didn't eat any more steaks. Tried the chicken, again, was not free range, was chewy and just tasted awful. Decided to try the other unseasoned chicken. After thawing the chicken in the refrigerator and opening the package the chicken was slimy and smelled terribly rotten. After doing more research about the company, they are not "local" They said they were from Clarksville TN, we live in Nashville TN, which is only 40 mins apart. that's local. San Diego CA is not local. It's hard to say how old the meat was and how many times it had been thawed and refroze. We feel we were misinformed and lied to, to sell the product. we would like a refund for the 90% of the meat we still have and do not plan to ever eat what meat is left.Desired Settlement: To have our money refunded for the 90% of meat we did not eat, nor plan to eat.
