Based on the ongoing, valid complaints of almost 200 homeowners from Mission Greens and The Bluffs (both in Mission Valley), this is the worst property management company in San Diego. The owner of this company, John Kalas, makes himself pretty scarce and treats residents like misbehaved troublemakers. In turn, he demands respect regardless of the fact he can't give straightforward answers to specific questions regarding repairs, security, and general maintenance. He threatens frustrated homeowners with fines and lawyers as a way of keeping them quiet. Or he blames the board members, which in the cases of these two properties hold some merit. Fortunately a growing number of homeowners (and a couple of good reporters) are on the trail of this con artist. The guy lies through all of his orifices. Don't believe me? Check out his reviews on Yelp. Or ask just about anyone living in Mission Greens or The Bluffs. They can show you their evasive and sometimes scolding emails and letters over several years to prove my point. They contain the many lies and contradictions John Kalas spews on a daily basis. Unless you are looking to throw your homeowners into an outright revolt, DO NOT SIGN THIS COMPANY to manage your property!
