I am rejecting this response because:As stated in original complaint, after purchase notification on a
receipt and a small notice taped on the corner of a cluttered desk that does not stand out is not an obvious policy disclosure to the consumer prior to purchase This is a 'gotcha' business and people interested in upholding transparency and consumer protections as well as supporting fair trade and local businesses should shop elsewhere Even big stores now place a large sign on the wall behind the check out as well as in bold print on the register where there are not other items covering or distracting from the sign. This is a business model that will go under simply because it does not do its best to inform fully the customer at the appropriate time and place This is bad businessAfter purchase notification on a receipt and a very small notification on the corner of a cluttered desk are not transparent or obvious to the consumer This is a 'gotcha' business model. I would still like to fully return the items I cannot of good conscience give my business to an establishment that handles it's customers this way To offer exchanges is not the same as a return I am still not interested in an exchange, only a full return It is hard for me to understand why you would not better inform customers of the return policy and why you would not, for the sake of good business, just allow the return Happy customers are good businessIt seems a strange trade off to court bad publicity and ongoing conflict for $rather than just seemless good customer service Let this be a warning to future customers
