Ted came in a checked the flooring and come out with a limited scope He snooped around the floor marking his observations and argued every point we made about the sub par workmanship He did not check what was under the pool table, rugs, couches kitchen table, panty etc., just the main surface area I provided a third party report which he admitted that "he did not study" before he came out to see the work Clearly his intent was to collect the outstanding balance and not to resolve the issuesThis isn't just limited to 6-tiles in sqft., this is about the entire floor having EXCESSIVE lipage throughout the house We informed him that our neighbor did their flooring a month or so after ours and they also used 3ft planked tiles and do not have the same problems we're experiencing They had a contractor that took their time an took pride in their work They made sure that they their floors didn't turn out like oursHe mentioned that he'd bring out the "A" team to correct the problems We replied by saying that we were charged a premium for this type of tile and we though they originally brought out the "A" team He quickly replied that this time he'll send out the "AA" team Not very comforting. His proposal did not address all the deficiencies that were noted in the third party report and he didn't address our number one concern which is the disruption and dust that will be kicked up again The house was empty and now it's fully decorated with new couches, chairs, bar, curtains, fans, paint etc There's at least a few thousand dollars in effort to correct the issues that have been attempted alreadyI do not accept his limited proposal as a solution for all the problems we've experienced I have attached the reports and his proposal for your review
To whom it may concern: Regarding this complaint, it was an honest misunderstandingDuring our conversation, Mr [redacted] told me the house was an investment house and was vacantIf at some point, he informed me there was furniture, I honestly don’t rememberWhen we sent out the installer on the scheduled date, he was a one man crew and couldn’t move furniture by himselfPuckett’s is more than happy to reschedule at the agreed about price and move the furnitureOur apologies to Mr [redacted] and his father for their inconvenienceOn a side note: The “bunching up” happens often in investment homes due to the temperature changes in a house that isn’t consistently heated and cooledIt loosens the backingAfter the carpet in restreched, Mr [redacted] might want to keep the house more consistently heated and cooled to avoid this problem in the future Thank you, [redacted]
I do not agree with all of Michael commentsBut one I definitely agree with is that he does not want the house disrupted. Therefore I would like to suggest a reduction in his bill outstanding as compensation for what he thinks aredeficiencies in the floorHe can hire someone else with the money to do whatever he would likeOr he could live with itknowing he got a discount. I figure it would cost me roughly $dollars to accomplish everything that the inspectors report thought was not correct. Therefore I would be willing to give that same discount of $and we could part ways agreeing to disagree

I met with customer and submitted a response where we either repair the discrepant pieces or give a discount to accept as-is.

par workmanship. He did not check what was under the pool table, rugs, couches kitchen table, panty etc., just the main surface area. I provided a third party report which he admitted that "he did not study" before he came out to see the work. Clearly his intent was to collect the outstanding balance and not to resolve the issues. This isn't just limited to 6-10 tiles in 1800 sq. ft., this is about the entire floor having EXCESSIVE lipage throughout the house. We informed him that our neighbor did their flooring a month or so after ours and they also used 3ft planked tiles and do not have the same problems we're experiencing. They had a contractor that took their time an took pride in their work. They made sure that they their floors didn't turn out like ours. He mentioned that he'd bring out the "A" team to correct the problems. We replied by saying that we were charged a premium for this type of tile and we though they originally brought out the "A" team. He quickly replied that this time he'll send out the "AA" team. Not very comforting. His proposal did not address all the deficiencies that were noted in the third party report and he didn't address our number one concern which is the disruption and dust that will be kicked up again. The house was empty and now it's fully decorated with new couches, chairs, bar, curtains, fans, paint etc. There's at least a few thousand dollars in effort to correct the issues that have been attempted already. I do not accept his limited proposal as a solution for all the problems we've experienced. I have attached the reports and his proposal for your review.
