Very dishonest dealership. These people only care about getting your money and nothing else. I was sold a car with bad alternator which they tried to cover up as bad battery. When I requested that the battery should be changed if that was the problem, they refused . They have the audacity to tell me that I low balled them on the price hence they cant do anything on a car that was still in their possession. If I am lying, they can come up with a rebuttal. I will be very careful dealing with these people. This incident was on June 18th 2020
I think the dealership is not honest with customer and unconcerned with any problem with the car as soon as your money is in their pocket. They sold me a car with bad alternator and battery!. My tow person discovered the alternator was not working before she left the dealer but they lied to her that I was aware of the bad alternator. Who pays $6700 for a car with bad battery and alternator? I called them back and I was told that I paid a low price for the car and they cant fixed anything. I am thinking they did that because they know that I was shipping the car out of the US and dont have time for litigation. Beware when you deal with them. My name is Jesse
RUN! THEY ARE THE EPITOME OF A DISHONEST USED CAR SALESMAN! BE PREPARRED TO ADD $1,000 IN FEES TO PRICE!
I'll start with the 1 thing that shows their moral character
The car has had problems since the moment I left the lot. After being unable to contact Manny for 10 days, he called me back within hours of my posting a Google review. I live 1hr20m from the dealership. He told me to take the car to a local mechanic for diagnostics. He agreed to cover the fee during 2 calls & via text. I made it clear that I did not have the money to lay out. When I text him that the car was ready, he told me in a text he would Western U. the money. He never did. For days he ignored all texts (all show read). I had to take my grocery money to pick up the car & avoid storage fees. In a time where most people in our country are coming together to help one another, Manny & Carz 4 Us are screwing people over. The $ for the car wasn't enough he needed to get that last $154 too! I hope his kids needed it more than mine!
The cars List price $5800. The "deal" they gave me was $6150, w over $1000 of that being document fees. Remember, you'll also be paying sales tax when you register your car:
Prep fee $319
Temp tags (told me I couldnt transfer my plates) $195
Clerical fee $395
Document delivery fee $183
Current Repairs needed on what Manny calls a "solid reliable car"
broken transmission mounts
broken heater bundle
air bag module
hood pin switch
WGR Valve and gasket
valve cover gaskets
fuel injector
injector seal
leaking engine pan
transmission cooler lines leaking
Power Steering PSI rack
LF directional socket and bulb
I have a useless, unsafe $6K CAR NOT a Solid reliable car
When we test drove the car & at pick up it was already running so we did not see all the warnings that come up on the dash (left turn signal out & hood ajar b/c pin is broken), you can change the display. The check engine light was NOT on. Manny assured me all electronics had been checked, were working & they "stand by their cars". All the electronic issues we've had are features that were listed in their ad. I asked Manny if all electronics were working. I specifically asked about the DVD. He said it was checked along with everything else. He assured me it was a "solid, reliable car".
Over the next few days, the car started running poorly, esp at idle. The DVD doesn't work right, remote start turns off after 1 min. When driving, RPMs drop & the car stutters I was told the it was misfiring. Its now leaking antifreeze all over engine (new issue).
I tried calling Manny NUMEROUS times over the next week. He was always unavailable & would get back to me He never did.
I wrote a review on Google. Within hours, Manny called me. His EXACT words "If you take down the Google Review, I'll send a tow truck today. Everything will be fixed. I'll give you receipts for all work. If the car needs a new engine, it will get a new engine. We stand behind our cars. We would never do a customer like that."
I edited the review (it seems all he cares about) & he called me back. We ultimately agreed on having a local mechanic look at the car instead of having it towed so far. Because the car was having so many electrical issues, we wanted Chryslers opinion.
When I called Manny, I told him I knew their estimate was excessive & we were not looking for all of those repairs to be made. Several could be done by a friend for me at a later time for a lot less money. I understand this was a used car & the risks that come with that & ultimately they are in the buisness of making money. But the things wrong with this car are numerous & serious safety issues.
I told him we really needed the things fixed that were causing the misfire & making the check engine light come on. He didn't want to hear any of it. He told me he'll have his guys look at it when quarenteen is over. Since he wouldn't cover the diagnostic fee as promised, I find it unlikely he'll fix anything. Honestly, I don't trust him to have the repairs done properly.
The car that was sold to me turned out to be no good. I returned the car the way I recieved it and the dealer refused to refund my deposit. And on my receipt and their website, No return policy is present stating that I can not recieve my deposit back.
I purchased a used vehicle from the dealership on October 10th 2019 and on November 9, 2019 the vehicle began misfunctioning. Several days later, I was told the transmission is no good. Considering I purchased the additional warranty package, I. Being told that I will have to pay out of pocket. Not only has the vehicle been taken to a shop of the dealerships choice but it now 3 weeks later and I have yet to of received a repaired vehicle back and continue being lied to.
BUYER BEWARE!! Stay away from this dealership, they are crooks. If I could give them a one star rating I would because a one star is too high for them. Manny charged me an exorbitant amount for title, registration so forth and he also stated that I would pick up the new plates at the dealer when they became available. A couple of weeks later I receive the previous title with bill of sale and no plates. I said to Manny I’m not going to pay $578 When I could have gotten the bill of sale and registered the vehicle myself. I could have saved the money. He said that’s what DMV charges when that’s not true. How do you when Manny is lying, when you see his lips moving. Do not go to this dealership unless you want to get RIPPED OFF!
Bait and switch pricing. Uses bogus "private seller" listings on Craigslist. Cars full of non-disclosed defects. Overall desperate shyster.
Manny was very helpful ..Thanks again!
I visited the Carz4Us dealership to buy a used car and identified a 2009 Honda accord. I paid $7130 in cash and it does include a 3rd party warranty for 1 year. The cost of the 3rd party warranty is $749. I was misguided to take this warranty and mentioned its the dealer price and it does not have any dealer commission. Also the car had check engine light ON, they mentioned the car engine oil was changed but the reset was not done, once we reset the check engine light will go away. I trusted and then they did reset the oil change and still it had the check engine light on. Then they said you drive the car for 50 miles and then it will go away.after driving 200 miles also, it didn't go away. So I called them and they routed me to a mechanic to check and fix the issue at my expenses. I paid around $158 for the repair. Also I realized there is no good having the 3rd party warranty and cancelled it by emailing the provider. Since I cancelled in the first 30 days, they said we are returning full refund and sent $549 check to dealer. I asked dealer to pay the remaining $200 as I paid $749 for the one year warranty. They made me to contact the 3rd party warranty provider and they confirmed that the reminder should be given by the dealer. Now the dealer says I wont give you the $200 and its our profit. And asked me to send a legal letter from the attorney to get $200. They clearly cheated me as I had no experience in cars and this is my first car buying.
