I have had issues with Carver from day one!! I purchased a Malibu and have tons of issues with it the reason being it was totaled in another state and they failed to tell me that!!! I have put so much money in it ,its not even funny! The title for Indiana is not a totaled but In OHIO it was wrecked twice and totaled the last time ! The real kicker is that told me to pay on the car for a year and I could get it refinanced or purchase a new car so I was counting down the days I went into Carver and offered me 3,for the car the sold me cause CAR FAX showed it was totaledAnd I wasn't able to get a new car because I didn't have enough equity cause I still owe 12,000!!! I wish weise was still here I never felt betrayed or so ashamed for trusting some oneWORST experience ever!!
I received a quote from the service department to replace two gasketsI dropped the car off and requested the old gaskets be saved for meWhen I returned one gasket had been replaced and they provided an o-ring in place of the second gasketContacted the service manager who reviewed the record and talked with the service technicianHe called me back and advised the technician admitted to not replacing the second gasket although I was charged for both the gasket and labor to replace it
Arranged with the service manager a time to return with the car to have the second gasket replacedService manager seemed to want to rectify the situation, however, the work should have been performed correctly the first time

I contacted this dealership regarding a used car they had on their lot. I was told the car was a one owner, good running condition and had passed all their safety inspections. I drove the car less than 100 miles before having to have it towed to a repair faculty. There it was discovered to have numerous issues along with a few safety related issues including: broken motor mounts, cracked brake lines, cracked and broken power steering reservoir. The driver information module has also been damaged and reputable repair shops (I've tried two) are unable to confirm the actual millage on the car. It's also been discovered the transmission has been overfilled with some type of fluid. The initial test drive the car performed fine, before I was able to get home it started to slip and now slips between every gear change.
The repair list continues to the tune of around $4k - $5k I've reached out many times including filling a case with consumer protection. The dealership responds with "The deal was AS IS/ NO WARRANTY. It was a typical sale." I specifically told them I was purchasing this car to carry my family around in. Obviously this dealership only cares about the mighty dollar. My mistake and I'd advice everyone to NOT purchase from this dealer no matter how nice they act. My salesman's name was[redacted].

Tyler from Carver called me on May 17, 2016 with an offer of a lower interest rate and payment on my car. When I got to the dealership I was then informed it was for a new car. I was still interested and decided to purchase the new car. I was brought into the finance department to sign all the paperwork. I signed a "Retail Credit Sale Contract" and left with my new car. Cathy, from the finance department, did tell me that if I could find a co-signor that I could possibly get an even lower rate and payment. I could not do that so I called her to let her know and she told me then that she would try to find a lender with just my name. I informed her that I had the paperwork stating the Toyota Financial Service was the lender. I contacted a lawyer and he read through all the documents that I was given and told me that I had a legitimate loan. He did advise me that I might want to return the car. I did that because I did not want to be associated with this business one day longer. They mislead me throughout the process.
