This email is in response to a customer's unhappiness with a dog collar we created custom for her dogThis is the first negative response I have gotten being in business for
yearsI worked with her for about a week, designing the color and showing her pictures along the wayShe wanted me to order custom brass hardware for this collar which I had to order and pay shipping onThe collar was built to last with custom stitching, color chosen by customerThere was a scrbraid ( pictures included) for decoration as asked for by the customerThis was to be decoration only not a handleWhen collar was returned the braid was ripped apart with pieces missing With the thick leather that I use it would have taken a large amount of force, more than lbs to break or ripThe discoloration in leather is caused by extreme stress and stretching from some kind of pressure I asked the customer how it broke I was told it was for me to figure out and she just wanted her money backI stand by my work and offered to fix it or rebuild it and was told no I think this is a small claims matter not for it seems like the customers only goal is to make me look bad on the internet

Good Afternoon -
As you can see in the attached document [redacted] is trying to sugar coat how he has handled the situation. All in all, the product was of poor quality. If the studs would have stayed in place there never would have been a problem with the braid breaking. But, since this was not the case the braid did ultimately break. This was less than a month since I bought an extremely expensive collar for my dog.
Yes, he did initially say that he would return the collar back to me but the wording he chose was just a down right lie. I never abused the collar and thus felt like I needed to voice my opinion as such. Without me even implying that I would like a refund he stated that there was no way I would be getting one - again extremely rude. After this comment he just became ruder and ruder towards me. Thus, there was no way I would want the collar back since it would just remind me of the hassle and rude comments and words said to me.
After I realized that the conversation was going no where I gave him one last out before I ultimately would report him to you. In turn he decided that he would accuse me of animal abuse.
I would still like my refund but this claim is every more than that - I do not want someone else to go through the torture he put me through. My beloved dog is my life and I wanted to get him a nice, durable leather collar. Instead of this I got a poorly made collar and was ultimately accused of animal abuse.
I cannot believe such a poor businessman is still in business.
