We will gladly take whatever steps necessary to remedy the situation and apologize for any inconvenience Customer satisfaction is our #priority
I offered to come to your home when your husband came to return the product because I knew the cartridge was goodThe cartridge was filled and reset the first time your husband came in to purchase the cartridgeThe day I was to come to your home your husband called said it was workingSo the cartridge is fully functional which you had placed in your printer and at that point it is considered a used product and not returnable

Store personnel did not adequately compensate for a returned faulty ink cartridge
On April 1, I returned a faulty ink cartridge to this store The clerk insisted that the cartridge was full when she sold it to me, even though it only printed a few pages before the cartridge ran out She offered me $for the $cartridge, and acknowledged that this was the second time that I had a complaint with the cartridges from this store I explained to her that the cartridge running out prematurely was an inconvenience to me because I was in the middle of printing documents that I needed to have quickly for work She insisted that she could not give me any better compensation I did accept the $5.00, and also bought an additional, color cartridge, only because of the fact that I was working that weekend, needed the cartridges, and did not have time to go to another store for the purchase, but, I will not purchase anything from this store again, and I will spread the word of the

I am rejecting this response because: The printer we have is brand new. Walmart sells these same printers on line, you can check. We bought brand new cartridges from Staples and used them before we bought a cartridge from cartridge world. The cartridges from Staples worked just fine and our printer worked just fine also. To save money we went to Cartridge world because we only needed 1 black cartridge to finish printing out our tax information. When we found out that the cartridge from Cartridge world did not work we had to go back to Staples to buy a new cartridge so we could get our taxes done. The new cartridge we bought at Staples after going to Cartridge world also worked just fine. And the printer still works just fine. When my husband brought the not working cartridge back to cartridge world to return it because the cartridge did not work, that is when the guy there ran his little gadget on the cartridge and reset the chip. That is why when they refused to take it back and offered to come to our house the cartridge now worked on our printer but by that time we did not need this cartridge anymore because we bought one from Staples and we normally use continuous ink system so we would not need any more cartridges. We just want to return this cartridge and be done with this crap. If he does not take the cartridge back and return our money I will post many very bad reviews of his company all over the internet. And if he wants to see my brand new printer he is welcome to do so as long as he sets up an appointment. I also suggest he look on line to see that they are selling these printers now.
To whom it may concern, I appologize to [redacted] and her husband for any issues they have experienced with our refilled product. I recognize that technology can be frustrating and I feel that the underlying problem would have been with their printer. The first time the...
husband came in he mentioned that he needed a cartridge for this "new" printer. For someone to say this is a "new" printer would alarm us and without question catch our attention knowing how few of these cartridge we now fill compared to even five years ago. For instance we have sold six hundred and seventy six Epson T060 cartridges. The last one that was sold was to Laure [redacted]'s husband which was slightly over a month ago. These epson TO60120 cartridges rarely coming through our doors anymore which indicates to us that the print is technically obsolete or in the tech world " a dinosaur." Because these cartridges are older product that we just don't see much of, when we refill them for any customer we run them though what the signs are of a failing printers and how they maybe able to maintain the printer properly so hopefully it last longer for them. [redacted]'s husband said the printer was pulled from their attic because the old epson C88+ had failed so they had this "new" printer as backup. Im guessing, but this "new" printer probably has been sitting untouched for five plus years. Inkjet printers even if packaged should not sit idle for long periods. When [redacted]'s husband came into return the cartridge I knew that the cartridge was fine. These cartridges are very simplistic- they are filled with ink and a chip is either reset or replaced. My concern is with this printer sitting for years that the printhead which is inside the printer is not pushing ink onto their paper. After failing to solve the problem talking to [redacted]'s husband and over the phone with [redacted] herself; I offered to go to their home and take a look at the print when I was done with work. So they gave me their address and shortly after [redacted]'s husband left Cartridge World he called and said it was working. I will politely leave out what he called me during that phone conversation because I know the frustrations with technology, I've been there! In conclusion the cartridge is fully functional and knowing that I took the time to talk to both [redacted] and her husband trying to troubleshoot as well as offering to come to their home as a convenience. Asking to returning the cartridge at this point is out of the question. Sincerely, Cartridge World Bismarck
It is unfortunate that I must write this review and I am not in the habit of doing so but this man is verbally abusive to his customers when trying to (not) resolve customer complaints. I did call the main office but it is a franchise and under their agreement there is not much they can do about this type of situation. After speaking with the regional manager, he assured me that at the next franchise meeting he is going to bring up the issue of dealing with franchise owners who have multiple complaints of poor customer service.
I am not the first to complain about this type of abuse against this owner and I can guarantee I will not be the last. I do not want it to happen to you.
Cartridge World Store # [redacted] Response to Complaint: On or about October [redacted] 2015 customer came to my store (Cartridge World) with an HP 6940 Inkjet Printer and stated that he had not used...
it in a long time. He further stated that when he attempted to print, it didn’t work and wasn’t sure if it was broken or just needed ink. I responded by explaining that we would have to ensure that there is ink in the cartridges and they are functioning properly before we could determine if there were any other issues with the Printer. Customer asked if I could check them and I agreed to do so. Both cartridges were removed from the Printer in his presence. His printer was left on the front counter in his presence, while I took the cartridges to my production area where I determined both were dried out but could be cleaned & refilled. Customer was informed of the state of the cartridges, and he asked about the cost to refill them. He then agreed to wait while I refill them. Upon re-installing the refilled cartridges in the Printer it did not work. Customer asked if printer could be repaired. I informed him that troubleshooting/labor, etc would be cost-prohibitive especially given the age & type of his Printer. We then had a brief chat about what kind of printer he might consider when he goes shopping for one. He thanked me & asked what he owed for my s[redacted]. I told him there is no charge. Reason being: He was not leaving the store with a useful Printer, & I also thought that eventually my business would gain a new customer. I assumed he left satisfied until several days later (I’m not certain of the exact date) he returned, again with the Printer. I greeted & asked how I could help him, to which he responded; as I remember; “what the hell did you do to my Printer?”. I was very surprised, but reminded him that I refilled the cartridges only & no work was done on the Printer. When I reminded him of our conversation about what Printers he might consider purchasing & the fact that he wasn’t charged for my s[redacted]s, he became visibly upset. Customer stated that I’m the only person that has ever touched his Printer, therefore I’m responsible for replacing it. I refused, and he left the store after stating that I would be hearing from him. Howard S[redacted] Cartridge World #[redacted]
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
It is unfortunate that the respondent has not taken responsibility for the damage he has done to my printer. He has chosen instead to make up lies to cover his tracks. He stated that my printer was not working when I brought it into his store. This is not true. The printer was working fine, as evidenced by a test page I printed the night before which I brought to the store to show him. My only purpose in visiting the store was to have an ink cartridge refilled, as it was running low on ink. The only reason I brought the whole printer to the store, rather than just the ink cartridge, was to prevent the cartridge from drying up.
The respondent has conveniently omitted the issue of his screaming loud enough to wake the dead and acting like a caged animal, brought on by my stating calmly that the printer had been working perfectly before I brought it into the store, and was not working at all after he touched it. This man should not be dealing with customers, as he seems to take some pleasure in treating them not much better than he would a dog in the street.
It is clear that this man is not qualified to perform any repair, maintenance, or diagnosis on computer printers, and he should not be touching any customer’s printers. His store is supposed to sell cartridges only, and his his actions should be limited to this.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,
