I have sent them letters for validation of this debt with no response. I has been over 70 days.
Correction to a credit report I would like to have them remove this from my credit reports if validation is not met.
Dear Revdex.com,
Carter-Young responded to the consumer's dispute timely on 5/12/16. The dispute letter we received was dated 3/29/16 and postmarked 4/22/16.
The subsequent documents received, after our response to the consumer's dispute, simply state that the consumer still disputes the debt and refuses to pay the account. These are generic in nature.
Carter-Young, Inc. has fulfilled its requirements in relation to this consumer's dispute; however, as a sign of good faith we will again mail this to their address as provided.
This communication is from a debt collector.

Good morning,
The consumer seems to have recollected the circumstances of this balance inaccurately. The genesis of the balance is, in fact, from an eviction for non-payment of rent, and the condition in which the property was left. Carter-Young, Inc. will send Mr. validation of the debt via US mail to his address as provided in this complaint. We *** include a complete final account statement.
We're happy to work with Mr., or the co-signer *** to find an amicable resolution. Should they have any questions in this regard they are welcome to contact me direct.

Unprofessional Service
I am the Executive Director of a federally subsidized Public Housing Authority in Alabama with over 26 years of industry experience. One of our housing applicants has a debt that he would like to enter into an agreement to resolve with a prior Landlord. Unfortunately, the debt has been referred to Carter-Young. We have agreed to work with this applicant if he will execute a written agreement for the debt that he owes. The applicant advises that he has made multiple attempts to work with Carter-Young in an effort to resolve the debt but they refuse to put anything into a written agreement and have been very uncooperative. I recently met with the applicant who expressed his frustration. I contacted Carter-Young in an effort to confirm this applicant's story. As a landlord operating federally subsidized housing, I am very familiar with privacy requirements. I fully understand that there are restrictions regulating private information. However, my question was policy related specifically concerning written agreements. When I called Carter-Young, I was referred to a person who identified themselves as a manager. This person was extremely rude and uncooperative, which confirmed our applicant's experience. I explained that I was just inquiring about what Carter-Young's policy is regarding written agreements. The Carter-Young representative indicated that they would not answer any questions unless I provided a release of information from our applicant even for policy related information. I asked if Carter-Young has a website that provides policy related information and the representative would not even answer this question. Later I did find a Carter-Young website but it did not contain any relevant policy information. The same day, I faxed over the information releases signed by our applicant and followed up with another phone call. The person I spoke with confirmed that they did receive the releases and transferred me to another Carter-Young representative. The call immediately went to voice mail. I left a message but have not received a response. It is a shame that our Authority is in a position to actually help Carter-Young recover money for one of their clients and I can't even get them to talk to me. I would have to classify Carter-Young as totally UNPROFESSIONAL in their treatment of me.
I have provided the requested information releases. I am expecting to get answers to the policy related questions I have.
Good morning,
I'm happy to say Mr. and I have discussed the aforementioned matter and have come to a mutual understanding.
While CYI is bound by consumer protection laws regarding the disclosure of information to unauthorized third parties, we have taken Mr. experience and used it to better improve our service.
Regretfully, we have not yet heard from Mr. applicant with regard to a resolution as of the date of this response.
Should Mr. or the consumer have any additional questions they are welcome to contact me directly.

My experience with Carter-Toung Inc. Was pleasing despite the situation that got me there. The representative who I had the pleasure of talking to helped me greatly to resolve the issue at hand. I was worried before, but after my encounter with him I was very releaved, and happy with the outcome.
I have sent you a written request to validate my debt having with Carter Young company and received a letter in the mail with an account number and the collection name but not a signed contract or any form of verification linking me to this account via contract. What is even more concerning is that after careful review of this account the account is listed not once but TWICE After reaching out to the original quotowner of this debt Woodhill Apartmentsquot they informed me that they have no records of this account. Now I am attempting to resolve this matter yet again. This debt is being unlawfully pursued by a company who can verify of validate this debt. According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act FDCPA I have the right to claim a validation of this debt and you are obliged to provide me with relevant documentation should you carry on your collection activities. As per an opinion letter published by the FTC reporting this collection is considered as collection acti

The collection agency Carter Young Inc failed to validate this debt. A bill statement does not obligate me to pay nor does it validate debt. They did not produce the documents establishing liability to them. In US law encyclopedia, American Jurisprudence, 73 Am Jur 2d. Sections 90-93; it says that one cannot subrogate onto a contract that they were not originally on, did not have any interest to protect, and then claim successor in rights and interests. I submitted a debt validation letter to Carter Young Inc on 5/13/17 and received a letter stating that my dispute was investigated and validated by the original creditor Georgia PC Clinic, however, I did not receive validation, only a letter claiming to be validation. Carter Young Inc are reporting invalid and inaccurate information on all three credit bureaus: Transunion, Equifax, and Experian.
Correction to a credit report I would like for Carter Young Inc to remove all inaccurate information from all 3 credit bureaus
The consumer filed the same inquiry through another online complaint portal. Carter-Young, Inc. replied on 6/15/17. Our response is the same.
"Good afternoon,

My daughter applied for an apartment near LSU. I co-signed for the apartment and she even found a room mate before the apartments were built. The apartment complex took about a year before completion. During this time my daughter secure another place where she decided to stay. We put a deposit on the apartment and where willing to forfeit the deposit. My daughter spoke with apartment managers and even found someone to move into the apartment so that there would not be any loss to the company. They decided to charge her for the first months rent and proceeded to put it on both our credit reports. This is still showing on my credit report.I own a house so it really is not a problem for me and my daughter has since moved to Texas and secured a nice place to live. It still bothers me that it is on our credit. I will dispute it with the credit agencies, but these are students who are just starting to learn how to do business in the real world. The complex did not loss any money because the apartment was occupied as soon as the complex was completed. The manager did tell my daughter that if she found someone to occupy the apartment she wouldnt be charged rent. Why should the consumer be charged when the complex did not even open on schedule?
Correction to a credit report I would like this removed from both our credit reports. We don't owe any money, since the apartment was occupied when it opened by persons who my daughter found to occupy it.

This collection agency has reported a debt to be reflected on my credit report.
I have never entered into a contract with the company, Carter-Young Inc. This collection agency has illegally reported a debt to the credit bureaus that is not mine, due to the fact that I have never entered into a contract with Carter-Young Inc.
I am requesting that the debt is deleted from my credit reports for all 3 major credit bureaus, Experian, Transunion, and Equifax.6

Please do not send me any contract hat you believe I entered into with Maverick Place Apartment. I requested that you send me validation of an agreement that I entered into with you all (meaning Carter-Young). I have not entered into any contract or agreement with Carter-Young, and therefore legally do not have a debt owed to you all. I do not have a signed agreement or contract with Carter-Young, which means that Carter-Young cannot legally pursue for any alleged debts. Carter-Young has NEVER provided me with any services. Please delete this account from my credit profile due to inaccuracy.

I would like this account removed from my credit file.
This company is reporting that I owe $184. I do not know of this company nor have I ever had any dealings with this company. I have never received any type of notice or bill from this company so I don't understand why they are reporting on my credit. I have asked for validation and have not received a response. the original creditor is listed as Wisteria Apartment and I have no knowledge of them either.
Correction to a credit report Please have this item removed from my credit report immediately.

no. I would like the documentation sent to the Revdex.com. Attach the documentation to your next response. you should have all documenation on hand or you should have never placed this on my credit files without it. Because you never provided initial validation, this must be deleted unt I have an opportinity to view the documentation and dispute the documents. If you do not delete this immediately I *** file a complaint with th Consumer Financial Protection Bureau today because you are in violstion of several FCRA regulations.
I perviously had the this debt removed for a rental property from my experian report. I called to have them remove it from my other credit reports, and the lady I spoke with had a nasty disposition. She would not listen to what I was trying to convey to her, telling me she can't remove anything. Also yelling at me. All I want is for this to be removed from credit reports and be done with this company. These people are so rude and angry. I don't see how treating me like trash gets them anywhere.
It's Carter-Young's goal to find solutions that will satisfy all parties involved. In this case we were unable to accommodate the consumer's request to arbitrarily delete the unpaid debt from her credit report(s). I welcome the consumer to contact me directly to discuss the circumstances surrounding her request, and to work toward a solution to resolve the item in our office.
After review of the call it's our finding that the representative treated the consumer with respect and at no point raised her voice.
