First of all let me say that we value all potential customers.  In the past 37 years of business we have never had anyone accuse us of racial issues.  We cannot see color over the telephone and never met the potential customer or his brother in person.  If we have in any way indicated...

that we select our customers base on race, you have our sincere apology.Second, we honor all Vets and have the highest regard for their service.  Our men in the service are appreciated by us and all of our employees.Mr. [redacted] arranged his first appointment for Monday, May 22, 2017, at 2:30.  I arrived at 4240 Inez, Beaumont, TX, at 2:15 and stayed until 2:50.  No one showed up for the appointment.  Mr. [redacted] called and spoke to my staff at our office.  It was agreed that there was miscommunication about a phone call being needed to his brother, James, before my arrival for an appointment.  A second appointment was made for Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 2:00 p.m..  I called his brother, James, myself before heading out to the scheduled appointment and no one answered the phone.  I then called Mr. [redacted] and told him I was on the way to our appointment and that no one answered the phone.  Mr. [redacted] said he would call his brother and make sure he was at the home. I arrived on time and waited for 20 minutes.  No one showed.  At 2:35 James called my office and spoke to my staff.  My staff put his brother on hold and called me.  I told them that I had spent time and money to come to the house to give an estimate twice.  I instructed them to tell James that I would not reschedule a third time.  My staff told the woman James was with that we were no longer interested in bidding the job.My staff spoke with M. [redacted].  They again checked with me and I instructed them to tell him that we were not interested in bidding his project. My staff then wished him luck on his project.It is procedure at our office to re-schedule a no show appointment only one more time.  Time and money were wasted by me to try and accommodate Mr. [redacted].  We give free estimates to all potential customers.  I  feel like making two attempts to give a free estimate is reasonable.
