BROKE MY GOLDEN RULE AND DIDN'T READ REVIEWS. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Husband's truck broke down. Found one we liked online. Lead us here. Drove the truck. Took it to our mechanic. Got a thumbs up except needed new tires and had a little leak somewhere. Back to dealership. Made deal. Wouldn't replace the bawled tires. We're going to let us leave with gas light on. Had to argue to get enough gas to get home. Kept being told "that comes out of my paycheck" are you kidding me. It's common courtesy. Not asking for a full tank just some gas. Next day. Go back to clean out our trade in we had left over night locked up on their lot!!!! Long story short. Our personal items had been stolen by an employee caught on camera. We did recover some items that he had locked in his toolbox. We were told he had began to detail it and stopped. Oh also same employee was on way to *** for vacation. Makes sense right. Guy knows he is going to *** for a week so he locks our things in his toolbox because he was stopped in the middle of detailing a vehicle that wasn't theirs yet and he wasn't told to start working on. Makes sense. Why would we want our tools, our straps, our money etc? Go ahead fella. Help yourself. Put it in your toolbox. Carstore says it's ok. ***. Guys. Come on. Truck came with a locking system in the bed. This was part of the determination of value. But guess what. No key. Awful experience. Nothing made right. Filed police report. Will tell anyone I know not to shop here EVER! Stay away! Read reviews! I hate that I can't give zero stars!
Product_Or_Service:
Other (requires explanation) I think we should get an apology rather than excuses. I think we should be compensated for the items that are still missing. If the business really wants to make it right they will help with the issues in the vehicle we purchased. Tires. Locks. Keys. But I highly doubt it. I do not believe customer service is that important to them.

Thank you for reaching out to express your concerns and review your experience with our dealership. I apologize for your poor experience and any miscommunication concerning your deal. Regarding the items left in your trade in, we have attempted to contact you for reimbursement on multiple occasions. At the time, we are still more than happy to provide you with the reimbursement check. At CarStoreUSA we strive to sell quality used vehicles and provide excellent customer service before and after the sale. It is our position that we have provided exemplary remedies to the issues that have been brought to our attention. This includes the repairs that are currently being done on your truck at ***. The state of *** requires dealerships to cover 10% of parts and labor for the powertrain, we cover 25% to go above and beyond for our customers. The repairs needed for your vehicle are not in the powertrain and therefore not covered in our 30-day warranty, yet we are still covering the repairs in full for you. It is the hope of CarStoreUSA that this matter can be resolved amicably, and you will be satisfied with our response. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I have never received a call about compensation for our stolen items. I even spoke with the rep who answered this complaint without one worse being said about any check. The items they say they fixed is also false. Yes the engine more or less went out within a few weeks and they sent us to get it fixed. This never addressed the missing keys or locked item we can't used. Not to mention the bawled totes. Turns out the brakes were shot as well so we had to fully replace them. No. Our concerns were not handled. I bet the *** still works there too. I do not accept. If you mean it call again or hey. Here's a novel idea. Send a check.
Thank you for reaching out once again to resolve this issue. I apologize for any miscommunication regarding this deal. I would like to address all of your concerns, and clarify exactly what we have done and will do. First, if you would like us to send a compensation check, please call our store and we will be happy to send one by mail or you can pick it up. Regarding repairs on your vehicle, we covered a $*** repair for you that was not covered under your warranty or our 30-day warranty. We did this in good faith to help you out. While your vehicle was at the shop, we even let you drive a car from our lot for your convenience. The issue with the brakes was not brought to our attention, therefore we could not be of service. Finally, concerning the duplicate key and other items you are requesting we will not be providing these items. If you would like to purchase them, we can help you get them at our cost.
