We were very pleased with the service we received: the quality of the repair work was better than expected; the staff kept us informed and worked with us regarding timelines for completion & pickup. We had 3 other estimates from auto repair shops and although the CARSTAR quote was not the lowest, it was the one we were most comfortable with. They did not disappoint us! We would definitely go back.
We have had our car repaired twice by this company and both times have had negative experiences. We've only owned our new car since Oct 2013 but because of how long repairs have taken we've only had it in our possession for 5 months approximately. We were in an accident in December 2013 and our car was in the shop until around April. Next we had hail damage and another accident in August and just got our car back in the middle of November. Along the way we kept being told "next week" or "soon", etc. This last time we were tired of calling and calling so just waited for them to call us. They called us on a Monday saying "one more thing to do and it'll be ready tomorrow some time. We'll let you know." We didn't get a call until Friday and then when my husband picked it up they said "it's been ready for a week." After waiting almost 3 months for our car we were very upset about the poor communication amongst themselves and to us.
Overall we're very dissatisfied with the service. We would not recommend this company to anyone unless they don't mind not having their car for months and months at a time.
