Sold my daughter a car with lots of issues, car was purchased Jan 3,2020.
I will point form the issues and concerns:
- They were promoting a free winter tire with the purchase of a car. The tires were checked by my local garage that they said there is no tread left for winter driving.
- There was a crack in her windshield at the time of purchase and I mentioned to *** to take a look at it before we leave on Jan 2 and he said not its ok. I took it to a glass repair shop the same day and she said this should not have passed safety. I called and emailed *** and he said he would get back to me. He he got back to me which took a while and more emails from me he said because it was ok as the time of safety that they will not pay for the fix but will pay for half. We got it fixed and I sent him the receipt but he has not got back to me and its been 2 weeks.
-The door locks would not work, we got that looked at but we can not find a cause.
-The oil light came on and off, we got an oil change and waiting to see if the light comes back on.
-Engine light came on 3 weeks after purchase, we took it to the garage and the computer check stated that the car had a "knock sensor 1 and 2. An appointment to come back was made but the engine light went out. I did contact car iconics but they did not return my email.
I do not recommend this dealer to anyone.
My biggest concern is this car was purchased by my daughter for $5600 not a good first time car buying experience.
