Review: I discussed the purchase of a [redacted] pickup truck with [redacted] and his brother both of Cars 4 Best (Price). I had misgivings about a warninnig light on the dash board, but they reassured me with a diagnostic internet site interpretation of a diagnosis code that the warning signal was not a serious matter. I wanted to check it for my self and so they gave me the code. Before leaving, however, [redacted] asked for a deposit and I gave him my debit card without thinking. Later, I changed my mind about the purchae and sent email to [redacted]. He said he was sorry, and that he had marked the vehicle as already sold, and that he missed the opportunity to sell to a client. I find that hard to believe since the vehicle had remained on [redacted] site for close to a month before I went to see him.Any how, he has not responded to my request for reimbursement.Desired Settlement: Return the $100.00 to my debit card or in cash.

Thank you very much for your mail notifying us the concerns of the customer. We would like to inform you following reality as a matter of fact to clarify the situation for this transaction. [redacted] who informed a complaint to you, had visited the dealership and was looking for a pick-up truck. He was interested in a [redacted] and had a print out from auto trader of this vehicle that he brought to the dealership He said that he would like to put a 100 dollar deposit down. He told us that his interest for the vehicle was to ship it and asked for our help. We took further action in helping him so we talked to our shipping company. 2 days went by and [redacted] decided that he did not want to purchase this vehicle any longer. Also that he wanted a refund on his deposit. Our deposits on vehicles are NON refundable and we have a sign that states that. But with good heart we decided that we will return the deposit. Then [redacted] said that he changed his mind again and that he has decided that he now again wants the [redacted] that he had put the deposit down on. Happily we told him to come to the dealership so we can finish paper work. [redacted] then again changed his mind and had decided that he does not want to purchase this vehicle any longer. During these 2 weeks we had 3 inquiries on this vehicle that we refused because of his deposit. Still we told him that we will return the $100.00 deposit that he had originally put down on the vehicle even after all the confusion. After receiving an email from [redacted] we responded and told him that we will be mailing the check. He responded a few days later and thanked us for the refund that we had gave to him.
