Carrs Quality Centers

I have tried to contact the parent company, *** with no response. There is not a "contact us" section of the Carrs web page.
My husband loves the Hemplers meat sticks that safeway packages and sells for $5, we buy them all the time. recently, we bought 2 packages, one pepperoni and one landjager. we bothe ate a couple of the landjager sticks and thought they tasted funny, I quit eating them, but he ate more because it didnt taste funny to him. then I looked at the expiration date; packaged on jun 13, sell thru jul 6, these were purchased on the 9th. I kept the receipt and the few left in the container with the intention of taking them back the next day, but remembered how bad the customer service is at that store and decided to email someone higher, when I couldnt find a contact for carrs, I emailed ***. My husband and I were both out of work for a day and a half with violent vomiting, diarrhea and cold sweats. those meat sticks were the ONLY thing we both ate that wouldve made us both sick with the same symptoms.
on the day we were both sick as dogs(7/11) we went to the same carrs to get some stomach medicine, only to find the BIG rack of the same meat sticks, this time most of them are moldy. I took a picture and sent a follow up email to *** (no response). This carrs needs to be shut down, the only reason I still shop there is because its closest. I will NOT be buying anything packaged by carrs from that location ever again and I will advise everyone I know to do the same.
