Mr *** truck was in my shop for repairs. My tech did make a mistake and put the plug wires on in the wrong order. We did bring his truck back to try and cure his concerns. When this truck left I told Mr. that I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere and that if he had any further issues or wanted any further action all he would have to do is call me. I am more than willing to buy him another engine that has around the same miles on it as well as pay another shop of his choosing up to 65 dollars an hour per mitchell time to replace the engine. The shop labor of 65 an hour plus a motor with the same miles on it would be roughly 1100.00 dollars. Per kelly blue book this truck (if in perfect condition) has a private party value of around 1700.00 dollars. That being said, the box on this truck is held on with straps and the truck is in fair condition at best which only lowers the cost. In hindsight I should have listened to his family member who came in to my shop prior to us working on his truck and warned me not too because this is the stuff he likes to pull.
