Review: In mid-December, I called Carp's them to come clear out a drain in my basement, which needs to be done yearly. They sent someone who tried hammering his way through my floor drain, and when that didn't work, he tried a PVC pipe behind my boiler, which he then broke. He also during this time stepped or tripped over my hot water heater, turning it off, essentially. He repaired the PVC pipe, (which I was charged for) and had trouble snaking that pipe below the broken area. I asked him if he'd checked my file to see where to snake, and he assured me he knew what he was doing. I was charged $258.70, which I paid. A few days later I discovered I had no hot water and when I went to investigate, also discovered the load of laundry I washed had backed up and now I was getting raw sewage coming up. I called and they sent a man who'd been to my house before and knew which drain to snake and which snake to use and he had the problem fixed quickly. I had to clean up this mess, spend several hours at a Laundromat washing laundry and go without hot water for a few days. They billed me $151.25 for the second visit, which I have not paid.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $258.70 I've already paid plus punitive damages of $500 for no hot water, no laundry facilities and cleaning up raw sewage.
