Review: I took my Nissan Xterra to Carmart (Aug 7,2013)to have the knock sensor fixed.Picked up Xterra(Sept 23,2013 6wks later),[redacted] mentioned that he broke the kayak racks on top of the vehicle.He asked what brand they were so he could price them to buy me new ones.I went over to my Xterra I noticed it was not the kayak racks but rather the factory rack of the Xterra(kayak racks were connected to the factory rack).[redacted] stated he drove my truck out of his garage and did not open the garage door the full way.[redacted] was quick to state he did not hit the back racks.Back racks did appear to be lifted slightly.[redacted] stated he would get back to me after he calls Nissan to order parts.I did not hear back from [redacted] so I called on Oct 24,2013; [redacted] states he forgot to call Nissan,laughs it off and took my number again.Did not hear back from [redacted],I called on Nov 15,2013;no answer left mess.Did not hear back from [redacted],I drove over to Carmart on Dec 18 2013;[redacted] states he has no money at the moment but will get back to me after new years.Did not hear back from [redacted];called no answer,did not leave mess.Drove to carmart on Feb 20,2014;[redacted] states he forgot and laughs it off,I asked [redacted] why do I have to keep coming over to see what is going on,[redacted] states jokingly says because I like to see your smiley face and asks for my number again.[redacted] states that he has been trying to get ahold of a specific guy at Nissan because all the other guys are i
s and he can only talk to one guy for the right part.Did not hear back from [redacted], drove to carmart on April 10,2014.I walked up to garage and [redacted] tries to joke stating he forgot.I stated this should have been fixed 6 months ago.[redacted] got extremely anger and stated my friend just died I don't need this right now go fix it yourself it will cost you $20 and I gave you a credit of $45.I asked why you didn't mention this before I would have & made a comment is this how you treat your customers, do we need to go to small claims.[redacted] yells yes do that.I asked for part back and he refusDesired Settlement: I will price parts & labor. Earl needs to pay me the difference after the $45 credit.
